When you are a practitioner, revisions on policies are great.

Especially when it means it protects your clients better while you ensure you can practice safely and effectively.

The Psychology Board of Australia just released advance copies of the updated Professional Competencies for psychology on their website.

These competencies, last revised in 2010, have been refreshed to enhance cultural safety, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, provide detailed guidelines for working with diverse groups, and include new elements like self-care and digital health practice.

Even though it will be implemented on 1 December 2025, it is always a good idea to be informed and to understand fully the changes made.

What then? Keep scrolling down to learn more.

Why wait until the last minute to learn what you need to implement next year?

Now is the perfect chance to get acquainted with the new competencies and do it together with your peers.

There will be questions and clarifications needed - which why I invite you to join me in this one-hour training where we will learn how to implement these new psychology competencies in private practice.

Consider it as the only actionable masterclass you need to catch up and get ahead of the game.

You're invited to join us this 30 August 2024, 5pm AEST!
