Sacrificing Yourself - How's that going?
I see you.
Life as a boss (yes, boss) in a small business can be overwhelming.
It can also be F’ing lonely.
Is that what you'd tell a client?
"Figure it out on your own."
"Don't invest in yourself."
"Paste together strategies based on someone else's therapy journey."
I didn't think so.

Here’s the thing:
You don't need amateur advice or decades of your own experience. You can learn and implement the things you need in your business that set you free.
You can build a practice that works for you—not against you.
We’re here to help you make that happen.
Master the Business Side of Your Practice - Start Here"I'm Out."
- a line I often hear from frustrated practitioners -
Let’s talk about what’s really on your mind.
You’ve probably noticed your peers leaving private practice—opting to create online courses or stepping away because they feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the future. And then there’s AI.
Everywhere you look, there’s a fear that technology will replace the work you’ve built your entire life around.

Here’s what we believe:
Private practice isn’t just surviving—it’s evolving.
And there’s one thing that can't be replaced: human connection.
The relationships you build with your team, clients and referral sources; the trust, the care—that’s what makes your practice irreplaceable.
Make 'CONNECTION' your word of 2025. We know the exhaustion is real.
And we believe that private practice is still one of the most meaningful ways to create change and build a sustainable, impactful future.
The power of your Practice Manager
It's rare that you're allowed to bring your right hand person (practice manager, business partner, clinical lead) into a high level program. But, we know that collaboration propels change much faster.

Word of the year: CONNECTION
To you, the human who feels like running your practice is more overwhelming than fulfilling: it's not actually your fault. You were trained clinically. Business was not part of the program at university. Let's Change That.
In the spirit of giving you connection, here's a secret that most won't tell you:
You don't need to grow your team, market more, say 'yes' to everything asked of you, or keep accepting resignations and people leaving the practice.
All you need (no, not love) is permission and support to do things your way. When you have permission to go back to what you want rather than what everyone has been telling you you 'should' be doing, you'll find what you're seeking: connection to your true self.

The bite size picture:
You've been at this for years, yet aren't there yet.
You're overwhelmed because you're juggling too much, lacking support, and most importantly, not delegating.
How not to be broke:
Profitability Without Compromise
Stop feeling guilty about making money. Learn how to set your fees, manage expenses, and create a sellable asset that secures your future.
Delegate:
Create the team that has your back; or develop the team you have.
This feels like a big commitment and the thought of adding something else to your place = NO. But what if I tell you, you can bring in your team at no extra charge?
Sustainable practices:
Success on Your Terms
Running your private practice feels like:
🤕 Admin chaos.
🤯 1 million demands.
🤬 Wondering if your next payroll will actually work.
What if it didn’t have to feel this way?

Are you the barrier?
One of our students spoke about her fears, people pleasing and imposter syndrome.
Personal shifts are necessary to grow a practice, not just external business tactics.

Tash
Hello, It's me. I'm the problem because I want to disrupt this industry. I'm not a clinician. I'm not neurotypical. Yes, I'm a millennial. I have 20 years experience in strategising for health practitioners on an international level. You'll often hear me say, "I have a template for that." (oh, and I have an MBA - NBD 🤷🏻♀️).

“When you guys and your program came along, what I really was looking for was that level of greater structure in the coaching. And what really attracted me was seeing that each month there was a different topic covered and every single topic really resonated with me.”
- Private Practice MBA Student -
Everything you will learn in the next 12 months
Here's what our students have shared about their experience inside the program:

Leadership
March
“Rather than trying to continually feel I need to be a different sort of leader, I accept who I am…I’ve embraced my leadership style. I’ve definitely accepted the authenticity of that being a style of leadership that works.”

Finance
April
“I loved how the course kept circling back. Each topic deepened the previous ones, so strategy didn’t just sit in a silo. We used it to fine-tune everything from our operations to the way we onboard new staff.”

Operations
May
“Bringing my practice manager, Mary, into the program was an absolute game changer… She’s not a yes person. She’s very savvy, she’ll say, ‘What about this?’ or ‘What about that?’ which is exactly what I need. Now we have a plan each month on how to implement changes.”

Governance
June
“The biggest change was learning your inside-out model. That’s where we realised how our mission, vision, and values guide everything—from client care to burnout prevention.”

Strategy
July
“What I loved about the MBA was getting ideas from other allied health practices, not just psychologists… It was just fantastic to get the ideas of what an OT thinks about stuff or what an NDIS provider thinks.”

Risk Management
August
“Having these operations in place helps our staff feel confident—and it shows in client outcomes. Everyone knows exactly how to provide the same high level of care.”

Marketing
September
“It all sort of came together at the end of the program when I put a job ad out that really had my tone and my style…this has never happened before in 10 years of having this business—I immediately had five amazing, high-quality clinical psychologists apply.”

Business Analytics
October
“We always used outcome measures individually with clients, but I want to take it further—using the MBA’s teachings to build a real dataset that shows how our approach helps people with severe mental health conditions. That’s my next big project.”

AI and Technology
November
“We’ve built an intranet with policies, procedures, and training videos. Having that in place means new staff settle in quickly and everyone’s on the same page about how we do things.”

Employment Models
December
“I did pull the rug from under the entire business by moving from a contractor model to an employment model… It was a big challenge for my leadership, and it’s turned out okay. Amazingly, all of my team converted!”

People and Culture
January
“I knew I was in a place of being too much of a people-pleaser…a bit of imposter syndrome…That strong need I had to be friends with everyone, as opposed to being respected colleagues. [The MBA] let me focus on the way I am and the way I do things…[and] guide it in a more collaborative way.”

Your Exit Plan
February
“The retreat was vital in pulling everything together…all 12 topics got pulled together in such a way as to leave you very focused. It helped guide me into that space of confidence in my leadership.”

Why Choose the Private Practice MBA?
Because You Deserve More Than Survival
What if you could stop feeling like the hardest-working (and most underpaid) person in your own business?
What if your private practice didn’t feel like it was driving you straight into burnout, but instead felt like a business you were actually in control of?
And what if… dare I say it… you could finally stop checking your bank account every. single. day?
If you’re nodding along right now, you’re not alone. This is what we hear from so many private practice owners:
👉 “I’m burnt out from managing everything.”
👉 “I never have time to actually work on my business.”
👉 “I feel like I’m stuck on a hamster wheel, and I don’t know how to get off.”
But here’s the thing.
It doesn’t have to feel this way.
Dare to dream of waking up each morning with:
✅ Knowing your team has a clear plan for managing your practice (without the chaos).
✅ You (and your accountant) has confidence in your income (no more bank account roulette).
✅ Freedom to focus on yourself.

What Makes Us Different?

We understand private practice.
“I never touched social media in my old job—it was all controlled by a marketing team. But through the MBA, I realised it could help me find staff who want to work with our unique client population. Sure enough, a fantastic new clinician discovered us online!”

We blend heart and strategy.
“One of the best things about the MBA was the group aspect. Hearing that other owners made the same mistakes made me feel less alone—and we pushed each other forward.”

We challenge the status quo.
“Early on, I felt flooded by content—there was so much to learn, and not all of it seemed to apply. Eventually, I stopped panicking. I realized it’s okay to pick what matters most to us, focus there, and come back to the rest when the timing’s right.”

"Truly transformational!"
Dr Dadirai Gara

This isn't something you "Should" do, it's something you get to do.
“I blocked off every Wednesday—red-zone time in my diary that nobody could schedule over. I paid for the MBA, so I wanted to show up. It became a sacred hour each week to learn, plan, and think more deeply about the practice.”
This is your chance to make it happen.
